Ava Logan
Ava Logan is an award winning singer-actress from Washington, D.C., who now lives in the Chicago area. A graduate of Yale and the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Logan is a veterinarian by day, and a jazz singer at night. This classically trained vocalist has performed jazz, pop and rhythm and blues throughout Chicagoland and other U.S. cities, as well as the Caribbean islands, Hawaii, and Ghana. A recent career highlight was portraying her idol, Ella Fitzgerald, in the Black Ensemble Theater’s critically acclaimed musical “Ella – First Lady of Song". Most recently, she appeared at the Peninsula Hotel in Chicago and with internationally renowned jazz violinist Johnny Frigo at his birthday tribute. She was also delighted to make a musical contribution to the Lorraine Jackson Foundation's "Pearls of Hope" breast cancer benefit gala held at the Four Seasons Hotel of Beverly Hills, California
